I do have an interface and speakers to build a 7.1 setup, but in Cubase I only find the 5.1 setup. I plan to expand my studio for surround music production, just for fun. Myself I am a cubase user since 1993 and Nuendo since it came out - to set in my ways to change unfortunately though I do actually love Nuendo. For students and those not raking loads of money in a post house it's a good option. it simply does have very flexible buses and routing options. This is based on observations of student use and mutichannel audio applications at the university where I am based and the opinion of most researchers on the surround sound list. Please bear in mind I do not use or love reaper I'm just saying if I was starting out again I would use it as makes more sense for his application. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok Shanabit has deleted his post but if I got the general impression then we are sick of the constant Reaper comments in threads that are off topic.īut carry on and hopefully we can make it another general rule like no Mac vs PC, no ITB vs OTB and no bringing up Reaper when it is off topic.įor the die hard Reaper lovers I hope Justin doesn't pull a Winamp on you and sells it to a major corporation that destroys everything you love about it.I was unaware this was trend.
